3. Said Leave of Absence request must be approved by a majority of votes cast by the
Chapter Membership at a Mothers’ Meeting AND must be considered prior to the
vote on the annual budget. A Quorum is required. If approved, no Chapter Dues
will be assessed on the approved Member for the following Program Year.
However, the Member must still meet all National and Regional financial
obligations.

4. A Member that takes a Leave of Absence must notify the Chapter Vice
President (or the President in her absence) in writing of her intent to
reactive her membership for the next Fiscal and Program Year prior to the April
meeting. The member must notify the Chapter as directed above or be subject to
Involuntary Termination.

E. Only a Member in Good Standing is eligible for a Leave of Absence.

F. A Member on Leave of Absence may NOT attend Organizational activities (see below),
but her obligation to fulfill all national conference attendance obligations continues to toll.

G. A member may not graduate out of the Organization while on a Leave of Absence.

H A member may not participate in Chapter, Regional, and/or National Activities while on
Leave of Absence, unless otherwise authorized in the Organization’s governing
documents. However, a member may participate in public events and activities sponsored
by the Organization while on Leave of Absence.

I. No leave of absence will be granted in the year prior to and the year the Chapter hosts the
Teen Conference, Mothers Conference or National Conference.

J. A Member on Leave of Absence is subject to all limitations as outlined in the NPP.
