immediate termination resulting from a failure to pay National/Regional per capita
                              or Chapter dues (see Article IX – Section 5 -  Chapter Dues and Assessments)
                              or to fulfill the National 1-in-4 conference attendance requirement (NPP).

                       6.     Notice: If a termination matter is presented to the Chapter body, and the Chapter
                              elects to Involuntarily Terminate membership, the Chapter Corresponding
                              Secretary shall issue written notice (in the form required by Article I, Section 5 of
                              the National Constitution and Bylaws) to the terminated Member of the
                              Chapter’s decision. The letter is effective once sent.

                              a.     If the termination is effectuated pursuant to Article V, Section 4(B)(2)(a)
                                     (National Grievance Process within the NPP), any notice letter regarding
                                     Involuntary Termination must be issued consistent with the manner outlined
                                     in the National Grievance Process within the NPP.

                              b.     If the termination is effectuated pursuant to Article V, Section 4(B)(2)(b)
                                     (report to the Chapter Vice President) the letter must state the reason for
                                     the decision, and notify the Member of her right to appeal to the Chapter
                                     Executive Board (as outlined below). The letter must be sent via regular
                                     and registered mail within 5 days of the Chapter’s decision. Copies of the
                                     letter shall be sent to the Regional Director, the National Officer of the
                                     Region and to the National Recording Secretary. The letter is effective
                                     once sent.


                       7.     Appeal of Involuntary Termination

                              a.     Members terminated pursuant to Article V, Section 4(B)(2)(a) above shall
                                     follow the National Grievance Process within the NPP.

                              b.     Members terminated pursuant to  Article V, Section 4(B)(2)(b): After
                                     receipt of notification of termination by the Chapter, a member shall have
                                     thirty (30) days to appeal in writing to the Chapter Executive Board (See
                                     the NCB, Article I, Section 5(B)  and the NPP).

                                     (1).    The Chapter Executive Board shall hold the hearing on the appeal
                                     within 14 days of the request. If the Chapter Executive Board upholds the
                                     termination elected by  the Chapter body, the  Chapter Corresponding
                                     Secretary shall issue written notice to the terminated Member of the Chapter
                                     Executive Board’s decision to uphold the Chapter body’s election to
                                     terminate by a letter sent via regular and registered mail within 5 days of
                                     the Chapter Executive Board’s decision. The letter must state the reason for
                                     the decision, and notify the Member of her right to appeal to the Regional
                                     Director.  Copies of the letter shall be sent to the Regional Director, the
                                     National Officer of the Region and to the National Recording Secretary.
                                     The letter is effective once sent.
