JIM GULIANO
Chromalloy— VP of Asset Management
Jim serves as an independent board member at
Abrasive Form, a current Calvert Street portfolio
company.
Jim is currently responsible for a Sequa unit
of Chromalloy in the aerospace aftermarket.
Jim had previously been engaged as a
consultant to evaluate the market opportunity and develop
this new strategic business service line. Sequa is owned by
Carlyle Group Private Equity.
Jim has more than 25 years of experience in the aerospace
industry with increasing levels of executive responsibility
at Pratt & Whitney. His responsibilities included serving as
the senior Pratt & Whitney executive to lead International
Aero Engines, development of Pratt's aftermarket strategy
for the next generation product family, management of
Pratt's $2 billion Global Engine Center organization and
oversight of Pratt's largest jet engine overhaul center.
Jim attended the Naval Academy and began his career as a
naval officer, serving on nuclear powered surface vessels
and in the submarine community. After six years in the
Navy, he attended Harvard Business School.
