JON MAHAN

Stifel—Managing Director

Jon Mahan is a Managing Director in Stifel’s
Mergers and Acquisitions Group focusing on
transactions in the lower middle market. He
has completed more than 100 transactions

representing more than $14 billion in
consideration across a wide range of industries.
In addition, Mr. Mahan maintains close
relationships with many middle market financial sponsors
across the country. Mr. Mahan is also a member of the firm’s
Fairness Opinion Committee.

Jon joined Stifel in 2005 as part of the acquisition of Legg
Mason Capital Markets by Stifel. Jon had been with Legg
Mason since 1996. Prior to joining Legg Mason, Mr. Mahan

was an equity research analyst at the First of Michigan
Corporation. Mr. Mahan also worked for a boutique
investment bank that specializes in M&A transactions. Mr.
Mahan is on the Board of Directors of Donegal Group, Inc., a
publicly traded property and casualty insurance company.
