Friday ’s Agenda

                                                     July 22, 2016
                      Breakout Session V
Friday 2:30 pm to 3:20 pm

507: The Coming Of Gilgamesh (Macro enabled
                  spreadsheet for GFA reconciliation specific
                to Visions)
Being a hero in a land of heroes is no simple
task. Compared to the likes of the champions
        of Human Resources, Business Administration
or Maintenance and Operation, Gilgamesh, the
unknown hero of GFA and reconciliation can be
overshadowed. But Gilgamesh is not so easily
forgotten. Are the villains of annual reconcilia-
tion with Fixed Assets daunting? The minions
of inventory distracting you so? Fear not, for
Gilgamesh will help you resolve most of your
reconciliation in a single stroke! Whether ac-
counting for additions, deletions or your AFR,
        Gilgamesh will stand triumphant.
Presented by: Joseph Leon - Phoenix Elemen-
        tary School District

508: Make sure the JOKER isn’t in charge of
                your fleet!
Ever wonder how school district vehicles know
when they need to call for help? Well it’s a
process. The Peoria School District will pres-
ent their process and discuss challenges and
successes that they have experienced as they
manage the Superhero fleet of vehicles.
Presented by: Doug King - Peoria Unified
        School District

510: Past and Future Impact on School Districts
from Prop 301 And Prop 123
Prop. 123 is in the books. It’s time to look at
what’s next including renewal of Prop. 301, res-
toration of the Great Recession Cuts and school
capital funding. Come to this session to get an
overview of these subjects, the legal issues in-
volved and what you can do to help further the
        conversations.
Presented by: Chris Thomas - Arizona School
        Boards Association
