4. Side of the Bed
- After finishing on one side, move to the
opposite side.
- Lay back the top sheet blanket.
- Pull the bottom sheet tightly across the
bed and tuck along the entire side
metering at the head as on the first
side.
- Tuck all beddings under the mattress at
the foot of the bed.
- Miter corner to match the other side.

5. For turn down of the bed the side near the night
table is tucked in half way along entire side of the
bed

6. The Pillow
- Insert pillows with pillow slip in the
cases.
- Place the pillow evenly in position.
- In single bed, the open side of the pillow
is placed facing the wall, in double bed,
both open sides meet at the center of
the bed.

7. The Foot runner
- Spread the foot runner carefully and
evenly 5 inches from bottom of the bed.

Task 15: Leave the guestroom properly

3. Check if ACU is in the hotel standard temperature
setting.

4. Check if TV set is in the hotel standard channel and
volume.

5. Set the lighting inside the room.

6. Make a final check around the room to make sure that
all items are well-positioned and that all areas from
ceiling to floor are clean and well maintained.

7. Update Housekeeper’s report form, indicate time
started and finished completed cleaning the room.
