STARTER KIT | HK-Room Attendant


               Task 30: Pick – up / deliver guest clothes for laundry and pressing services

                Pick-up                                      Guest laundry is picked up/ delivered within five (5) minutes from

                2.  Proceed to the guestroom.                Telephone operator is informed within one (1) minute after task

                3.  Enter guestroom door. See Guestroom Task: Entering   Clean  guest  laundry  or  items  for  pressing  are  delivered  to  the

                4.  Check the laundry list if filled out by guest.   If the guest is out of the room, acknowledgement of receipt is done
                        -   Guest name                       through the Front Desk when he/she arrives.

                        -   Items and quantity               completion.
                        -   Guest signature
                        -   Kind of service (express or ordinary)

                5.  In front of the guest, inspect and count the items and
                    consider the following:
                        -   Completeness of buttons
                        -   Zipper
                        -   Seam
                        -   Pockets
                        -   Stain-free
                        -   Special instruction for laundry

                6.  Indicate the quantity on the hotel column of the laundry
                    list.

                7.  Recap quantity and items and kind of service to the
                    guest.

                8.  Ask guest if there is anything he/ she still needs.
                        -   If there is, advise guest that you will process
                           the  request  (if  applicable)  or  relay  it  to
                           concerned personnel.
                        -   Advise express assist of the guest request.
                        -   If none, do step 7 and 8.

                9.  Exit the room, gently close the door and make sure it
                    is locked.

                10.  Turnover the guest laundry to MC.

                11.  Inform Express Assist on the completion of the task.
