are not getting results consistently. Really? Yes, this is what I am
going to share with you in this book. I have done many businesses
in my life and my results change when I discovered that my
business is a system and if I treat it as such, my result is inevitable;
as certain as your car taking you from A to B. I discovered this
when I founded an eCommerce business about 15 years ago and
the first one year was a nightmare! There was chaos everywhere
and we were working crazy hours but no result. We got consultants
and coaches to help us out and it was the best investment I have
ever made. We moved from chaos to order in less than 2 months
of restructure and training. Needless to say, money started pouring
into the business as if a genie granted our wishes. I have decided
that I would share this to as many entrepreneurs as possible.
YOU MUST HAVE A SYSTEM – IT’S YOUR ROAD MAP
WHEN YOUR SYSTEM IS STRUCTURED – IT BECOMES A SAT
NAV (Correcting your course in real-time)
Let’s start with a road map, I remember the days of A to Z map.
The last time I saw one was when I was clearing out my garage
and I just binned it because I have no use for it anymore. The map
was useful, but it was an ineffective system. The reason is that it
doesn’t give you feedback. Therefore, if you make the wrong turn,
good luck with that because you may end up in Siberia (maybe
not) but you get the idea. Every business has a system whether
they realise it or not. However, when your system is well planned
by experts using tried and tested methods; your result may
become more consistent. It is similar to the car analogy, it would
take you from A-B with a reasonable level of certainty. Your
business may transform into a self-managing cash machine whilst
you are rollicking at the beach soaking in the sun and sea. Is that
a picture you would like to experience? I would show you if you
just stay with me.
Let's talk about SAT NAV – I was one of the first customers of Sat
Nav and it was the GARMIN brand. It was like magic to me
because as an intuitive person I have difficulty in finding my ways
around. Another theory of mine is that perhaps because I grew up
in a small town, therefore my ability to navigate is quite limited. So,
when I found Sat Nav, it was a God sent technology. Why I picked
Sat Nav as my analogy is that it fits perfectly into a self-correcting
