A mooting v/ns hold today at the. Agency, Bahrain, to
consider the proposals drawn up by Mr .C.,A. F.Dundee of the
British Council for educational improvement*! in Bahrain.

The Advisor, Bahrain Govornmont.
The .following conclusions were arrived at.

2. The Gocond alternative mentioned in paragraph 7 of

Mr.Dundee' memorandum of tho 24th February 1941 v/ae conoidered
the most practicable and he undertook to send a further
communication from Cairo expanding his proposalo.

3. It was understood that ha would approach the Treasury,

probably during April, on the basis of tho second alternative
and that when it wen known what assistance His Maieaty'e
Government wero likely to give he would either return ;

himself to Bahrain to prepare detailed proposals or else
send someone authorized to act on behalf of the British
Council.
