2. Ibn Baud's letter, was handed to Shaikh Salman on

November 12th. He said thap Arabi did not concern him
and the Political Agent reports that he did .not seem to
feel strongly about Bu Saafftfr. He said. that, when the

fused to express an opinion either way regarding its owner­
