Office tolegraui 692 to me and 1 unclose horowith a
copy ol* the roply I have sent to it, If you see
no objection, will you take up with the-Shaikh and
the Company the question of the cessation of
operations on Uu Saafah c.f. paragraph 1 (b) of
Foreign Office telegram 692 and lot me know the
result. My view is that tho company will be v/ell
advised to close down the operations as tho money
spent by them in this area is likely to bo wasted,

portion of paragraph 2 (b) of Foreign Office
telegram , with a copy of Kuwait telegram Ho.

communication to bo made to tho bhailth of Ku\vuit.
