they wished, change the basis of their paymonto to
tho Ruler and increase his revenues a?.; a. consequence.
If those revenues v/oro brought in line with ferula,
thu extra payment v/ould amount to about l/-d pur
ton and he v/ould receive about tbOO,OUO per year,
before uncourap.inf' tho Ruler to make ajiy request
for discussions on this point, I should Lx; grateful,
for your viewy. In particular I think we should
consider thu repercussions of any change in bAJ.'CO1 s
payments tu the Ruler on refineries elsewhere,
Particularly in Aden and the Levant, and I should
welcome any information which would provide a standard
of comparison.
