Overall: Sai is currently a Department Fiscal Administrator with the City of San Antonio. He
oversees three distinct functions and manages 14 people, and a budget of about $60m. He
is working long days from 8a to 8p. He began his career as a scientist researching cures for
cancer. In 2009, he made a career change for city government, where he began working as
a budget and Purchasing Manager for the City of Kerville.
Sai came across as an even keeled person with experience in fast-paced, politcally charged
environments, such as the City of San Antonio. He spoke to each of the questions
intelligently, although, at times, I felt the need to ask him to elaborate. Sai would be an
interesting candidate to consider further.
