EXTENDING OUR REACH
Throughout the year NRR attends over 30 recruitment events including 27 local and 5 national conferences.
For the first time, representatives from the NRR team attended the National Black Nurses Association
(NBNA) Conference in Atlanta, Georgia in early August, 2023. There were over 1400 nurses in attendance
including nursing leaders from Michigan Medicine.
In 2023, UM Health invested with DiversityNursing.com to increase
exposure of nursing opportunities, across the country.
The partnership includes unlimited job postings with direct access to
UM Nursing website, access to resume database, use of the logo on
recruitment communications, UM Health profile on the site, social me-
dia presence on Facebook and Twitter, and highlighting one identified
job posting per month to increase the applicant pool.
