3.11 Compassionate Leave
In the unfortunate event of the death of an immediate family member
(mother/father/partner/sibling/child), you will be entitled to Compassionate
leave of five consecutive work days which will be paid.
In the event of the death of a member of your extended family (grandparent,
aunt, cousin, etc) a day’s paid leave will be granted, primarily with the
intention to facilitate your attendance at the funeral.
3.12 Costa Coffee
Where there is a Costa coffee outlet on site, coffee is provided at a
discounted rate to all employees, either at 50% or a lower rate which is at
the discretion of the hotel.
3.13 Educational Assistance
Jurys Inn Hotel Group offer an
extensive amount of learning and
development opportunities, not just
during induction but throughout your
time working with us. This can come
in the form of webinars, GROW
modules or face to face training.
For more specialist roles or
specialist courses that would
support you in your role, it may be
possible to receive Company support
in funding for the course. Please
speak to your manager to your
manager about the options that may
apply to you.
Educational Assistance Policy
3.14 Emergency Family Leave (Ireland)
Emergency family leave entitles a staff member to a set number of paid days
leave (Force Majeure) to deal with family emergencies, resulting from
injuries or illness of a family member.
There are limits to the amount of time that is provided and an emergency
family leave form must be completed.
