        Anti Inflammatory Tropical Smoothie



        This is such a great post workout smoothie because it contains so many anti-inflammatory foods
        that will help you recover quickly from your workouts and get back to training sooner. Both
        turmeric and ginger are great at helping to fight inflammation and control pain and black pepper
        helps boost the absorption of turmeric. The best part? This smoothie tastes amazing too. Sub
        out the plant based milk for orange juice for a nice change.







        INGREDIENTS                                                               Makes 1 large smoothie or
        •   cup (   g) frozen pineapple                                           2 small smoothies
        •   cup (  g) frozen mango
        •   banana                                                                501 calories for 1 large smoothie
        •   scoop vanilla protein powder
        •   tbsp of fresh ginger, peeled and chopped                              Macros:
        •   tbsp fresh turmeric or                                                33g Protein 73g Carbs 13g Fat
        •   tsp turmeric powder
        • Pinch of black pepper
        • 1 tbsp hulled hemp seeds
        •     cups (   ml) soy milk or your favourite
        plant based milk



        METHOD

        Add ingredients to a high powered blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately or pour into
        an airtight cup or glass (with a lid) and put in the fridge. Consume within    hours.
