        PB & Date Toast



        I know what you are thinking... this sounds crazy but trust me, peanut butter and dates are a
        match made in heaven. This is an easy and filling lunch (or snack!) and kid friendly too. Dates are
        full of nutrients and the sugar in them is bound to fiber, so they are a great alternative to using
        processed jams. Enjoy!







        INGREDIENTS
        •   pieces of bread, lightly toasted                                      Makes 1 serving (2 pieces of toast)
        •   tbsp peanut butter (  tbsp per slice)
        •  -  med ool dates, pitted and flattened ( -  pieces                      331 calories per slice
        per slice)
        • A pinch of cinnamon                                                     Macros per slice :

        METHOD
         . Toast bread (or keep it untoasted - both work!)
         . Spread peanut butter (or sub other nut seed butter) over toast.
         . Pit the med ool dates, open them and flattened them so you can put them on top of the peanut
        butter easily.
         . Sprinkle cinnamon on top of each slice.
