Nowadays people try to find an escape from living instead of standing their ground, fighting the
problems and finding solutions. Especially some youth tend to see suicide as an alternative to their
stressful lifestyle. That was the predominant reason for the origin of PAWURA. The first step kicked
off on the World Suicide Prevention Day, with a series of social media posts raising awareness.
The main event was an awareness webinar conducted by a professional psychologist and some
young celebrities also made an appearance in the event. It was also aimed at the general public to
know how to identify a suicidal person and take necessary steps to help them and guide them to
obtain professional help. We believe that the discussion spoke to young minds effectively to make
them understand the true value of life and to encourage them to face the challenges which makes
life more beautiful.

The purpose of BITL was to bring forth the
essential skills and knowledge on first aid to
ensure daily safety in domestic and other
surroundings especially during these harsh times
where people are mostly confined to their homes
and going to a hospital is somewhat restricted.
The event was conducted as a webinar via zoom
and Facebook live. The guest speakers showered
the audience with their expert knowledge which
provided us with a first class discussion.
The active demonstrations of management of injuries was a spotlight of the discussion which gave a
real life experience through a virtual event. The event was a remarkable success which provided the
participants with basic first aid knowledge to make a huge difference in their lives in managing
accidents and preventing fatalities in the future.
