assessment tasks for students during the course, students’ academic counseling and
support, learning resources, facilities required and finally, course evaluation and
improvement processes. This file of course specifications is submitted to the students
before beginning of the course (Annex S2-3-1-3 Sample of course specification).
• Report of Program Learning Outcomes Assessment (Annex S2-3-1-4, page no. 6).
• Summary of topics for department councils for the year 1443/1444H (Annex S2-3-1-5, page
no. 1).
• Guidelines for preparing the final exam based on the course learning outcomes (Annex S2-
3-1-6).
2-3-2: The necessary training is provided for the teaching staff on learning and teaching
strategies and assessment methods identified in the program and course specifications, along
with the effective use of modern and advanced technology; and their use is monitored.
Al-Baha University provides the necessary training to its faculty member on teaching and learning
strategies, evaluation methods specified in the program, course descriptions and the effective use
of modern and advanced technology and monitors their use of it.
Appropriate and adequate training programs and workshops are regularly conducted by Al - Baha
University to develop the skills of faculty members to improve faculty performance in curriculum
design, course delivery and assessment (Annex S2-3-2-1 Developing the Skills of New Faculty
Members - Al-Baha University). The statement of the training courses attended by the faculty
members of the program is attached (Annex S2-3-2-2 Training courses and programs). The
effective use of modern and advanced technology is utilized in training plan to develop faculty
members’ skills via on-line training programs and workshops by Rafid platform.
2-3-3: At the beginning of each course, students are provided with comprehensive information
about the course, including learning outcomes, teaching and learning strategies, and assessment
methods and dates, as well as what is expected from them during the study of the course.
At the beginning of the first lecture on the first day of all courses, the course coordinator gives
course outlines to the students, explaining the general information about the course (course
name, course number, objective, description, syllabus, references, course learning outcomes,
