9. Existing Terminal Facility and Custom House

Some of the existing infrastructure of the planned terminal consists of:

• Totally fenced site.
• Compacted, clean open fields.
• 140,000 sq. ft. covered storage.
• Separate storage areas with solid floors.
• Office building.
• Reception/ guard building.

The following picture shows the projected terminal:

Picture 7 is an aerial view of the existing facility as is: ample open space, main
storage building, office building as well as a reception building.

The lay-out included in the Appendices indicates the areas of the incoming and
outgoing containers. They are general containers, reefers, equipment and
machinery, as well as a grain storage and a grain export facility. A container
repair center would be operated inside the existing storage building. A tug-boat
base, barge cleaning, decontamination and repairs would be operated on the
shore line.
