Human Resources
OCONUS employees will execute their EA provided by the local payroll company. The payroll
company is responsible for coordinating the approval process for the final Employment Agreement
in consultation with Counsel and PM. Vysnova Corporate HR is responsible for ensuring a copy of all
co-employment agreements are maintained. When appropriate, the employee will complete a
Vysnova co-employment agreement. The employee will keep one original and the other original will
be filed in his/her personnel file.
Consultancy
For staff hired as consultants, please refer to Contracting Section.
Onboarding and Training of New Employees (CONUS)
On-Boarding
Upon acceptance of an offer of employment via the GetHired portal, Vysnova HR will initiate an on-
boarding request to the new employee, who will complete all required documents prior to their first
day. HR will maintain a New Hire On-Boarding Checklist for each employee, provided to each
department involved, and will require signatures from each task owner upon completion. HR will
send an Equipment and Software Sourcing Form request to the IT department, copying the PM for
awareness. While most aspects of new employee On-Boarding is conducted by HR with support and
participation of other departments, the PM will be kept apprised of the on-boarding initiation and
completion.
After deciding to hire an particular employee, the PM should ensure they save a copy of the
candidate’s resume in the Human Capitol folder of their Project Folder. PM is responsible for keeping
a copy of all project staff resumes, requesting updates on an annual basis.
No later than 2 business days prior to the employee’s start date, the PM is to provide an agenda for
the employee’s first day to HR, with the first 30 minutes set aside for HR to complete on-boarding.
This agenda will be provided to the employee in a welcome email, sent by Vysnova HR.
Training
All Vysnova CONUS employees are registered with Vysnova’s Learning Management System (LMS)
for mandated annual training during their initial on-boarding. Employees are assigned annual training
to be completed within 30 days of hire, and reassigned at the start of each year, regardless of
previous date of completion, with 30 days to complete. A complete list of current mandated trainings
can be found in the LMS and a Training Matrix is provided in Annex F for all project staff. OCONUS
personnel may be required to complete training via the LMS on an “as-required basis”. Upon learning
of a required training, the PM is to inform Vysnova HR, and provide any details of the training. Once
the training is uploaded into the LMS, the HR manager will assign to employees as directed by the
PM. All certificates of completion are stored in the employee’s personnel file and provided to the PM
as requested. The PM is responsible for ensuring that all his/her staff takes the requisite training
within the established timeframes.
