16.1 A brief history
I've already explained on several occasions that there are 2
possible attitudes in life:
We make it happen or we let it happen.
For a few years, through no fault of my own, I had to put up
with things.

I've come to appreciate Jean de La Fontaine's quote at its

As already mentioned, Management & Services LLC began
operations on January 15, 2003 with an exclusive worldwide
distribution contract for the sale and implementation of
HI-System. IT Spin Off had drawn up its business plan on
the assumption that it would be profitable within 3 years, to
cover its operating costs and the recovery of the bankruptcy
it had caused to HORIZON ICT.
In reality, IT Spin Off was profitable after the 1st year of
operation. We had achieved excellent results and HI-System
sales were very good. With these results, we had
demonstrated that the bankruptcy triggered in September
