Jessica Robison- Cyber, Engineering Tech served eight years with the Navy. Jessica shared
that one challenge she faced while transitioning from the military was that she didn’t think
about benefits while serving, something she now must consider. Jessica stated how eye-
opening the “real world” has been. “The military is strict vs the real world.” She is appreciative
that she was able to transition to a civilian role through the SkillBridge program and is learning
and enjoying her time at MIL.
Jeff Delaney- Security Engineering Associate spent 21 years in the Air Force. He started his
SkillBridge journey with MIL as a 100 percent remote intern while still living in Texas. MIL's
SkillBridge team helped him focus on successfully completing the Certified Ethical Hacking
course. This certification is an important factor to be employed and working with MIL’s Cyber
sector. Jeff states, “This focus provided my family and I the flexibility to complete most of my
retirement appointments prior to my official retirement date. MIL Corp's understanding and
care for servicemembers helped make my transition from Active Duty to civilian life seamless
and stress-free.”
If you know of a soon to be retiring or separating servicemember who might be interested in
MIL’s SkillBridge program opportunities, please pass along information on MIL’s SkillBridge
Program participation and ask them to contact MIL Recruiting for more information.
