needs and position requirements with the shared goal of quickly and efficiently identifying,
attracting, and hiring qualified and best fit candidates to meet project needs.

which includes managing requisitions for the Global Financial Services (GFS) and Information

interest in technical programs, allows her to provide technical assistance for the many tools
used by the team. In addition to this, Saira captures and analyzes metrics to evaluate the
team's success and provide data-driven insights for future recruitment strategies. She is also
responsible for managing the team's subscriptions, ensuring that they have access to the
necessary resources for their job. Through her many contributions, Saira is an integral member
of the team, playing a significant role in its overall success. She received her BS degree in

teams throughout the entire hiring process to ensure full compliance with MIL’s standards and
fair hiring practices. Alexander also provides systems administration support to Taleo, MIL’s

Daniel Ponton, Recruiting, Junior Analyst. Newest to the recruiting team, Daniel
understands the importance of teamwork and communication. As a member of Christopher
Newport University Football Team, where he played Defensive Back, Daniel learned valuable
lessons that he leverages daily in his recruiting activities. Lessons like how to plan effectively to
achieve team goals, how to keep cool under pressure, and the importance of wearing multiple
hats to get the job done right. Daniel graduated from CNU in December 2021 with a degree
in Communications and professional training that just may help shape the future of MIL’s
recruitment messaging and applicant outreach endeavors. But for now, Daniel will be focusing
on helping Pax River hiring managers find just the right candidates for their Navy projects.
Quashonda A. Pope, Recruiting, Analyst (Sourcer/Coordinator). With an MBA, an
undergraduate degree in Psychology, and an associate’s in Social Sciences, Quashonda has all

in June 2022, Quashonda has used her experience in recruitment and onboarding as well as her
talent for sourcing candidates and conducting interviews, to find prospective staff destined to
be great fits at MIL. While her background as a customer service rep helped to refine her “soft”
skills and problem-solving abilities, her work as a Registered Behavior Tech supporting people
with disabilities helped hone her capacity to listen and empathize—all great qualities for a
recruiting pro!
