MIL staff support 2022 National Book Festival

                                     MIL's LOC team supported the Library’s exciting return to an in-person National Book
                                     Festival on September 3rd, providing technology support and audio/visual (AV) services that
                                     displayed many of the Library's offerings to researchers and the public. In advance of the
                                     festival, MIL's network team provided LAN and wireless configuration service to support
                                     the festival's connectivity to Library services. In the weeks leading up to and the day of the
                                     festival, MIL's desktop support and AV teams imaged and configured over 60 laptops, 15 LCD
                                     TVs, and various peripherals that were distributed to Library staff to showcase different ways
                                     that researchers or members of the public can utilize the resources offered by the Library of
                                     Congress. MIL staff continually conducted checkpoints with Library employees throughout the
                                     festival to ensure that their assigned technology assets functioned as expected. MIL's support
                                     helped ensure that the Library was able to conduct another successful National Book Festival.






























                                              MIL receives ESGR’s Seven Seas Award

                                              We are proud to announce that MIL was once again the recipient of an Employer
                                              Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) award for the State of Maryland. On
                                              Saturday July 30th, MIL Senior Vice President of the Rapid Engineering and
                                              Prototyping Solutions (REPS) Sector Harvil Jenkins and Michael Lopez Rodriguez,
                                              REPS’ Manager of Project Management and a Command Sergeant Major with
                                              the US Army Reserves, attended the organization’s Annual Planning and Awards
                                              Meeting (APAM) Dinner/Award Banquet at the Doubletree Hotel in Annapolis, MD.
                                              Along with delicious food and stimulating conversation among the award recipients,
                                              Harvil and Michael were pleased to receive ESGR’s Seven Seals Award in recognition
                                              of MIL’s dedicated support to members of the National Guard and Reserve.
