Shining bright like a diamond

MIL was pleased to serve as a Diamond Sponsor of MedStar’s
annual gala fundraiser at the Hollywood Social Hall. The
MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital’s Gala 2022: A Red Carpet Affair,
was the 35th annual event to raise funds and awareness of
the good works and ongoing needs of the local community
hospital. Proceeds from this year’s gala are earmarked for the
hospital’s scholarship endowment and current scholarships,
which will assist MedStar to attract much needed healthcare
workers to the St. Mary’s County hospital.
Several members of the MIL family donned their finest to
enjoy the festivities. Dancing shoes were required for the
October 21st party, where attendees were wined and dined
and enjoyed a chance to win a spectacular jewelry raffle. The
winner of the raffle walked away with a beautiful 2.04-carat
Caribbean blue and white diamond necklace donated by G&H
Jewelers. Congratulations to the raffle winner and all those
lucky enough to attend the red carpet event!

Port to Fort 6k

MIL was a proud sponsor of this year’s Port to Fort 6K race to
benefit the Believe in Tomorrow Children’s Foundation. The
Foundation provides hospital and respite housing services to
critically ill children and their families. Since its founding in
1982, Believe In Tomorrow has provided nearly one million
overnight accommodations in every U.S. state and more than
82 countries across the globe. For the children and families
they serve, Believe In Tomorrow offers a helping hand when
it’s needed the most.
Beginning in Baltimore’s famous Inner Harbor and ending at
historic Fort McHenry in Locust Point, this year’s event was
enjoyed by everyone from Halloween-costumed walkers to
seriously competitive racers. All to benefit families in their
time of greatest need.
Along with serving as a corporate sponsor for the event,
several members of the MIL team participated in the walk/
run event. MIL also offered free t-shirts and other corporate
goodies like clear plastic tote bags perfect for Orioles and
Ravens games to lucky racers stopping by for a visit.
