EWIS FOY was another mystery to me in the beginning of this research;
just another name found in the ancestry lineage between FRANCIS FOY
Land JOHN ELON FOY, my great grandfather. LEWIS remained a
mystery to me until about 1999 when an abundance of information suddenly
became available.

The DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION (DAR) library has
many applications for membership by individuals claiming JAMES FOY, SR as
a part of their lineage. As JAMES FOY,SR is recognized and certified as having
been a warrior in the Revolutionary War, such applications for membership
have been rightfully granted.
