THREE ENAMELED COPPER SNUFF BOTTLES
20th century
Each of flattened rounded form with waisted neck and flat lip; the first
painted to one face with three naked babies and a lamb, reversed
by three naked babies and two doves, all framed by floral and lappet
borders; the second painted around the body with a puce enamel
landscape between lappet borders; the third painted with two travelers
in a boat on one face, the other with a sage walking along the shore
with mountains in the distance; all three with an oval foot ring enclosing
a four-character Qianlong mark in blue enamel.

A RED OVERLAY WHITE GLASS ‘CHILONG’ SNUFF BOTTLE
1750-1820
Of rounded rectangular form, rising to a cylindrical neck with flat lip, the
red layer carved as a writhing chilong on each face, flanked by bat-
form handles on the shoulders, all supported on an oval foot ring.
