a recessed base to a tall, waisted cylindrical
neck with a lipped rim, decorated around the
body with four ‘Buddhist emblems’, including
hua (flower), guan (vase), yu (fish), and chang
(endless knot), borne on an undulating leafy
foliate scroll, all between lotus lappets above
the foot and below the rim
