                                                            SONG DYNASTY (960-1279)

                                                            The circular pendant is well hollowed to the centre and carved
                                                            with stylised chilong on the edges. The semi-translucent stone is of
                                                            an even yellow tone with some russet inclusions.

                                                            A CELADON AND RUSSET JADE CARVING OF A
                                                            TORTOISE

                                                            SONG-MING DYNASTY (960-1644)

                                                            The stone is finely carved as a tortoise standing foursquare, with
                                                            bulging eyes and its shell finely incised with a repeated hexagonal
                                                            pattern. The semi-transluscent stone is of a pale celadon tone with
                                                            some russet inclusions.
