                                                                                                                                                                                                (1350  -  1767). 14th - 16th c.

                                                                                                                                                                                                Bronze with dark and partly patina. The
                                                                                                                                                                                                calm and introverted facial features are
                                                                                                                                                                                                of great elegance. The bridge of the nose
                                                                                                                                                                                                runs out into the two high browed arches,
                                                                                                                                                                                                the eyes almost closed and filled with
                                                                                                                                                                                                residue of lacquer for the missing inlays.
                                                                                                                                                                                                The hair formed as small spirals covering
                                                                                                                                                                                                the head with the ushnisha, crowned
                                                                                                                                                                                                by a flame. Height 30cm. Mounted on a
                                                                                                                                                                                                wooden base. Condition A/B. Tip broken
                                                                                                                                                                                                off a long time ago and polished. Left
                                                                                                                                                                                                earlobe broken, but preserved.
