Step 12:
In the Layers panel, click on the big logo layer to make it active, then click on the Add a Layer Style icon (the fx) at the bottom of the Layers panel, and
choose Outer Glow (this applies a glow to whatever is on this layer). When the Layer Style dialog appears (seen below on the right), click on the color
swatch to bring up the Color Picker and we’ll steal a color that’s already in our document. While the Color Picker is open onscreen, move your cursor out
onto your image, and click on that blue color coming off the lights, and that becomes the color of your glow (how easy was that?). To increase the size of
your glow, drag the Size slider to the right, and if your glow isn’t visible enough, drag the Opacity slider to the right, as well. When it looks good to you,
click OK. Lastly, using the Move tool, drag your logo a little higher in the frame so the players don’t block quite as much of it (as seen here), and your
project is complete. Note: At the very end, I didn’t like the two shots of the same player in the same pose, so I downloaded another shot of the same player,
but in a different pose (I had to flip him horizontally). Also, if you struggled a little with this project, don’t sweat it—this was a more advanced one, but it
got you more familiar with Free Transform, and you got a good foundation in using layers and opacity, and again, that’s all good stuff to know up front.
