DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE “DEPARTMENT/Program OJT
                       COORDINATORS”

                              a.  Assist OJT Trainees in looking for private and/or government
                                 agencies/firms where the students can undergo OJT;
                              b.  Assist the Campus/ College OJT Coordinator in facilitating the
                                 documents needed by the trainees;
                              c.  Assist the student trainees in coordination with the Campus OJT
                                 Coordinator and the OJT Centers in preparing the program of
                                 activities or work schedules of the trainees;
                              d.  In coordination of the Campus OJT Coordinator, conduct regular
                                 visits to student trainees while on training;
                              e.  Assist the trainees in the preparation of narrative report; and
                              f.  Submit the list of trainees and other pertinent reports to the Campus
                                 OJT Coordinator.


                       RESPONSIBILITIES OF FACULTY MEMBERS

                          1.  Instruction
                              a.  Prepare and follow a course syllabus based on the learner needs
                                 identified;
                              b.  Facilitate the learning process through active engagement in
                                 classroom tasks;
                              c.  Develop students’ analytical and creative thinking skills through
                                 purposive activities with focus on higher order thinking skills;
                              d.  Manage the classes effectively;
                              e.  Submit the required reports;
                              f.  Design innovative models of teaching for all types of students;
                              g.  Develop teaching methodologies and techniques in the pursuit of
                                 effective teaching and learning process; and
                              h.  Attend university affairs.

                          2.  Research
                              a.  Participate in formulating research agenda for the University;
                              b.  Conduct researches to enhance instruction in their field of
                                 specialization;
                              c.  Act as student thesis adviser; and
                              d.  Publish articles/monographs in recognized journals and magazines.

                          3.  Extension
                              a.  Participate actively in University-sponsored community extension
                                 projects as part of their professional and personal commitment to
                                 the academic profession.
