SESSION 6 : Song of Songs Chapter 2:8-10 (TPT)

fair. He is a faithful God who does no wrong; how just and upright he

          is!” (Deuteronomy 32:3–4, NLT)

“Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put

my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my
life. Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your gracious

Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing. (Psalm 143:8-10, NLT)

Unless we believe these truths—that our God is faithfully for us one
hundred percent, that He is our absolute everything, and came to bring

life in all its abundance and fullness—we will never have the courage
to live in true faith and freedom.

The Bible says: “Jesus told them, ‘And my righteous ones will live by
faith. But I will take no pleasure in anyone who turns away.’” (Hebrews

          10:38, NLT)

It also says: “This is the only work God wants from you: Believe in the
one he has sent.” (John 6:29, NLT)

We did not choose to follow Jesus for an easy life, but for a life of

fulfillment and restoration. As we remain in Him, in close communion,
He will give us the grace necessary to overcome every mountain and

hill of difficulty. We can make a decision right now to re-adjust the lens
through which we view our circumstances and choose the correct

mindset for every situation—a mindset that testifies to the truth that
Jesus Christ is King of Kings, Lord of Lords, the God whose name is

far above everything sent against us—and He is totally for us.
