RADICAL LOVE
As we remain in the cleft of the Rock, we will discover the covenantal
promises of God to be sweet like honey- steadfast, sure, unchanging,
and eternal. This will revive us when the going gets tough. ( See Psalm
81:16). If we press deep into the cleft of this Rock, we will unearth deep
riches of wisdom and knowledge and bring forth hidden truths from the
Word.
If we dwell in the Rock, we will receive of the oil preserved within it,
which is necessary to keep the light of Christ burning fervently within
us. Similarly, just as Moses and the Israelites drank water from the
Rock in the wilderness, so we too must imbibe the pure, clear, crystal
waters. These will refresh and sustain us as we move forward in
fulfilling our heavenly destinies in Christ.
We must feed on these awesome truths, people of God. They are our
nourishment for the challenging times ahead.
Continuing with this same verse, Song of Songs 2:14 (TPT), we read:
“For you are my dove, hidden in the split-open rock. It was I who took
you and hid you up high in the secret stairway of the sky…”
Again, this refers to her being called to ascend from the confines of the
earthly realm up to the third heaven, where Christ rules and reigns, and
to understand her true position in Him—that in Christ, she is seated in
the heavenly realms, far above every principality and power. It is also
the place of spiritual revelation. We gain access to this place by faith,
and that faith, when aligned with pure praise and worship, leads to
