He then turned to Jayson, who had a ‘I don’t think I like this guy’
look.
Chris also brought his hand to him. “You must be…?”
“Jayson. But sorry, I don’t like shaking people’s hands.”
That felt like a lie. Jayson does like shaking people’s hands. He
always extends his hand to people he’s just met. Even if he’s known
them for a long time, he still likes to shake hands. It’s his way of being
polite—and that’s something I like about him.
“Oh, well, it’s good to meet you both anyway.” Chris forced a
smile and slowly put his hand away.
