THE IMMIGRATION REFORM AND CONTROL ACT OF 1986
The Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 makes it unlawful for an employer to knowingly
hire, recruit or refer for a fee for employment in the United States any individual (citizen or alien)
not supplying proper documentation to verify his/her eligibility to work in the United States.
Mission’s policy is to fully comply with this law and will not knowingly employ anyone who does
not supply Mission with government-required support documentation to verify that the employee
is authorized to work in the United States. In the event it is determined that an individual does not
have the appropriate documentation, that individual will be subject to termination of employment.
