OPEN COMMUNICATION AND CONFLICT RESOLUTION POLICY
Mission encourages open discussion of any issues, problems and/or concerns that affect you at
work, with the goal being that management can work through and help you resolve problems at
work.
Supervisors/managers have the authority to resolve most issues and will make themselves
available to meet with you. If you feel uncomfortable talking to your supervisor/manager because
the matter is highly sensitive, confidential or if you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may
contact the head of the People Operations or his/her designee to discuss the matter.
To facilitate an understanding of the matter, please be prepared to provide the following
information:
➢ Describe what is going on from your perspective,
➢ Provide some history of the dates and times of occurrences,
➢ Explain what you have done to try to resolve the matter, and
➢ Suggest an appropriate resolution.
Not all matters may be resolved according to your expectation, but you will have an opportunity
to be heard and to suggest appropriate resolutions. Mission considers all matters serious and will
make an appropriate decision based on the result of an investigation. Your views and input are
important to us. We will attempt to work with every employee to resolve each and every concern
in an equitable and appropriate manner. Employees who bring a matter forward in good faith will
not be subject to retaliation.
