POLICY 201
DIVERSITY
EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
Mission is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer. Mission’s policy prohibits discrimination
based on race, religion, color, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity,
genetic information, age, national origin, uniform services or veteran status, or status as an
individual with a disability or any other category or characteristic protected by applicable federal,
state or local laws. This applies to all facets of employment.
EMPLOYMENT AT-WILL
Mission is an at-will employer. The employment relationship between Mission and its employees
is personal in nature and based on mutual consent of Mission and the employee. Thus, as a general
rule, all employees are hired for an indefinite period of time and either the employee or Mission is
free to terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without notice, and for any
reason. No exception to this “at-will” rule will be permitted or recognized, absent express written
authorization from the President or Chief Executive Officer of Mission. Offer letters or other letters
confirming employment are used for informational purposes only and should not be construed as
employment contracts.
AFFIRMATIVE ACTION PROGRAM
Due to Mission conducting business with the government, we are subject to an Affirmative Action
Program. Mission’s Affirmative Action Program is designed to achieve the appropriate utilization
of women, minorities, disabled persons, and veterans at all levels and in all areas of the workplace.
An effective program cannot be achieved without the support of the management team and the
employees. The head of the People Operations or his/her designee, who reports directly to the
President on matters relating to this policy, is responsible for formulating, implementing,
coordinating, and monitoring all efforts in the area of equal employment opportunity. Any
communication from an applicant for employment, a government agency or any attorney
concerning any equal employment opportunity should be referred to the head of the People
Operations or his/her designee.
