The Code does not create any rights or entitlements for employees. The purpose of the Code is to
unify the effort of Mission to be a responsible corporate citizen and respect its employees for their
valuable contributions.
EMPLOYER-EMPLOYEE RELATIONS
Mission is committed to a mutually rewarding and direct relationship with its employees, without
the need or intervention of outside groups. We do this by following these principles:
➢ We provide equal employment opportunity and treatment regardless of race, religion,
color, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information,
age, disability, national origin, uniform services or veteran status, citizenship or
immigration status, or other characteristic protected under federal, state and local laws.
➢ We provide compensation and benefits which commensurate with the work performed.
➢ We establish hours of work based on Mission’s production and service needs.
➢ We monitor and comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations
concerning employees.
➢ We offer training opportunities for those whose talents warrant the training or when
justified by Mission’s needs.
➢ We are receptive to constructive suggestions about job duties, working conditions and
personnel policies.
➢ We establish appropriate means for employees to discuss matters of concern with their
immediate supervisors/managers.
In order for Mission to meet its commitment to provide excellent products and services to its
customers and to create a productive working environment, all employees are expected to:
➢ Represent Mission in a positive and ethical manner;
➢ Perform assigned tasks in an efficient manner;
➢ Be punctual to work;
➢ Demonstrate a considerate, friendly and constructive approach toward fellow employees
and avoid behavior or conduct that is threatening, harassing, discriminatory or offensive,
consistent with Mission policies; and
➢ Follow the policies adopted by Mission and cooperate fully in any investigation with regard
to such policies.
Nothing in this policy is meant nor should be interpreted to, limit an employee’s rights under any
applicable federal, state or local laws, including an employee’s rights under the National Labor
Relations Act to engage in protected concerted activities with other employees to improve terms
and conditions of employment, such as wages and benefits.
