SOLICITATION, DISTRIBUTION, AND POSTING OF MATERIAL
Mission prohibits the solicitation, distribution and posting of material on Mission property by any
employee or non-employee at all times, except as permitted by this policy. Mission restricts
solicitation and distribution on its premises by its employees and any third parties because those
activities can interfere with its normal operations, reduce employee efficiency, annoy customers,
and pose a threat to security.
The People Operations Department is responsible for administering this policy and enforcing its
provisions. Employees who violate this policy may be subject to corrective action, up to and
including termination of employment.
Provisions:
➢ Solicitation of employees by other employees is strictly prohibited during either
employee’s work time, except in connection with a Mission-approved or sponsored event.
➢ Non-employees may not solicit employees or distribute literature of any kind on Mission
property at any time. The sale of merchandise and services is prohibited on Mission
property.
➢ Mission may authorize a limited number of fund drives by employees on behalf of Mission
sponsored charitable organizations or for employee gifts.
➢ Employees may not distribute literature of any kind during work times or in any work areas
at any time.
➢ Electronic announcements may be permitted with approval from the People Operations
Department.
Violations of this policy should be reported to the People Operations Department and are subject
to corrective action, up to and including termination of employment.
