Employees must promptly update Mission HRIS of any changes in the following:
➢ Name, address or phone number
➢ Marital status
➢ Dependent names and dates of birth
➢ Beneficiary designation
➢ Tax withholdings
➢ Emergency contact
Employee files are maintained in the People Operations Department and are the property of
Mission. Employee files are considered confidential to the extent possible. Supervisors/managers
may only have access to personnel file information on a need-to-know basis and may be granted
access to files or limited parts of it, in accordance with applicable laws. External requests for
disclosure of personal records will be granted only with approval of the People Operations
Department.
Upon written request, current employees may be granted access to their personnel files. A mutually
agreeable time will be scheduled to view the files. Current employees may inspect their own
records and may request signed documents from the People Operations Department. Inspection of
files must be conducted in the presence of a designated member of the People Operations
Department. Employees who believe that their files contain inaccurate information may submit a
written request for file revisions to the People Operations Department.
Representatives of government or law enforcement agencies, in the course of their duties, may be
allowed access to information in personnel files.
LUNCH ROOM AND BREAK AREA
Each work location contains a lunch room and/or break area for employees’ use. The lunch room
and/or break area contains a microwave oven and/or refrigerator and coffee pots for use by
employees. Employees are required to clean up after themselves.
