Abstract Drowsiness while driving is one of the major causes that can lead to fatal accidents.
It happens when the driver loss their focus on the road because of fatigue, lack of sleep, or
insufficient rest. This can make the driver accidentally slip into another lane or out of sleep
while driving. The accident is not only dangerous for the driver but also dangerous to the
passenger, pedestrian, and public property. This paper discusses the analysis of driver
drowsiness behavior during driving conditions using the line tracking method of a vision
sensor. The lane is detected by using Region of Interest (ROI) and Hough Transform (HT).
The ROI will scope or detect the specific region on the frame and HT will detect the straight
line that has been detected by the ROI. The system is tested using MATLAB to analyze the
data. The simulation results using MATLAB show the distance between the frame midpoint to
                the lane.
