Climate Conversations 2020
The Climate Conversations: Green Youth Activism
event was held virtually on 30 June 2020. NYAA Gold
Award Holder Ms Cheryl Lee was the moderator.

interviewed by Channel News Asia on Singapore’s
sustainability development project at Mandai under NEA EcoFriends Judging Panel
the theme - meet the sustainability champion Mr James Soh, Executive Director, the NYAA Council,
steering Mandai’s upcoming eco-tourism hub. has been reappointed as a member of the judging
panel of The EcoFriends Award 2020. Mr Desmond
Tan, Minister of State for Sustainability and the
Environment, chaired the panel.

Partnership with National Parks Board
The NYAA Council and the Singapore Adventure Club
proposed to develop a gardening programme with
the support of the National Parks Board. Officials
from the NYAA and the Singapore Adventure Club
were hosted to a meeting and site visit at HortPark by
members of the senior management of the National
Parks Board on 14 October 2020. The Singapore
Adventure Club has identified a national gardening
project site at Keppel Hill, located at Seah Imm Road.
NParks will check with Singapore Land Authority on
the future usage of the state land. Visit to HortPark by NYAA delegation.
