Youth in Action Environmental Activist
Ms Woo Qiyun, an HSBC-NYAA Youth Environmental
Award recipient, was highlighted by TODAY as part
of its series on youth activism. It profiled youth who
are passionate and vocal about social issues and
who have been driving positive change through their
actions. The NYAA is very encouraged that Ms Woo is
now an active environmental advocate in Singapore.

Accreditation by NYAA for National Parks
Programmes for Schools
The NYAA and the National Parks Board worked
closely to develop programmes for schools and
institutions. As a result, NParks has submitted a
series of youth programmes for NYAA’s endorsement.
NYAA will encourage and inform the schools on the
accreditation of these programmes for the NYAA.
NParks and NYAA in partnership to develop youth environmental
projects at HortPark.
