Ms Cheryl Lee – Eco-Business A-List Award
2021
For the first time since the launch of the A-List by Eco-
Business in 2019, the organisers recognise people
from the corporate world and individuals working in
government and civil society sectors, working to drive
positive environmental and social impact around
them. Especially for Sustainability professionals aged
30 and below in the Asia Pacific region.
Ms Cheryl Lee, an environmental activist and an NYAA
Gold Award holder (2017 Cohort), and Singapore’s
Youth Representative at the United Nations Ms Cheryl Lee Jue Lei, NYAA Gold Award holder (2017
Cohort).
Environment South East Asian Youth Environment
Network (SEAYEN), was awarded the Eco-Business
A-List Youth Award 2021 for her outstanding
leadership and contributions towards environmental
sustainability.

Since her polytechnic days, Ms Cheryl Lee, an
environmental advocate on climate change and an
NYAA Gold Award holder (2017 Cohort), has been
an environmental champion. Ms Lee has served
as Singapore’s youth representative at the United
Nations South East Asian Youth Environment Network
(SEAYEN) since 2016. She is a sought-after speaker
on environmental issues and advocacy at TED Talks,
foreign embassies events, and environmental forums
and conferences.
Ms Lee represented the NYAA at the United Nations
Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC)
in Bonn, Germany, in 2018, Madrid, Spain, in 2019
and Glasgow, Scotland, in 2021, where she served
as moderator in three youth dialogue events
hosted by Thailand, Japan and the World Wildlife
Fund. Ms Lee also shared her experiences with the
Singapore delegation led by Ms Grace Fu, Minister for
Sustainability and the Environment and Mr Joseph
Teo, Singapore Chief Climate Change Negotiator.

(AIR)
Mr Saimen Imanual, an NYAA Gold Award holder (2016
Cohort), was appointed Programme Commissioner
(AIR) of the Singapore Scout Association in December
2021.
