Mr Shawn Seah, an NYAA Gold Award holder (2013)
and Senior Planner with PUB, Singapore’s National
Water Agency, was appointed a Member of the
Singapore Water Association (SWA) Young Water
Professional Executive Committee in 2023.
• Mr Darren Soh, an NYAA Gold Award holder (1998),
has been appointed a Member of the Technical Panel
for the Singapore Architecture Collection by the
Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA). His expertise
will benefit Singapore’s architectural heritage.
• Mr Brandon Chia, an NYAA Gold Award holder
(2015), ITE Nursing graduate, earned a Master’s
in Nursing from the University of Edinburgh. His
photography skills captured images of artworks
created by people with disabilities for a fundraising
project organised by the Northeast Community
Development Council.
• Dr Marina Chow, an NYAA Gold Award holder
(2004), a lead scientist with DuPont’s Nutrition and
Bioscience Division in the United States, contributed
to developing biological solutions for industrial
problems and biofuel production.
• The Kindness & Leadership 50, 2023
The Kindness & Leadership, 50 Leading Lights
campaign aims to highlight leaders who make a
significant impact through acts of kindness. This
UK-based initiative views the campaign as a unique
opportunity to establish a new standard, sharing
insights and expertise from compassionate leaders
while recognising their contributions to business, the
economy, and society.
In 2023, Mr Tan Yinglan, an NYAA Gold Award
holder (2006), Founding Managing Partner of
Insignia Ventures Partners and an NYAA Gold Award
holder, was honoured as one of The Kindness &
Leadership 50 Leading Lights in the Asia Pacific. This
recognition celebrates his exceptional leadership
and commitment to fostering kindness in all his
endeavours.
