LEADERSHIP AND CONTRIBUTIONS BY NYAA GOLD AWARD HOLDERS

NYAA takes pride in the achievements of its Gold Award recipients in 2023. These individuals have served in
leadership positions across various sectors in Singapore and made significant contributions on the international
stage, bringing honour to NYAA. They are:

• Dr Eugene Seah, NYAA Gold Award holder (1995),
and Chairman of the NYAA Council, was appointed a
Global Board Member and Chief Operating Officer of
Meinhardt Group in February 2023.

• LTC Sam Tan, an NYAA Gold Award holder (2018)
was appointed Commanding Officer of RSS Stalwart,
Republic of Singapore Navy.

• Mr Mahesh Rai, an NYAA Gold Award holder (2004),
Director of Dispute Resolution and Deputy Head of
Construction and Engineering at Dew & Napier, was
recognised as one of Asia’s top 50 dispute lawyers.

• Mr Zed Teo Zi-Ming, an NYAA Gold Award holder
(2002) Assistant Commissioner of Police, has been
seconded to Chainalysis Inc. for a year as Director
of Crypto Investigations. Chainalysis is a blockchain
data platform used by government agencies in
over 70 countries to solve high-profile criminal and
cryptocurrency cases.

• Mr Sergius Wat, an NYAA Gold Award holder
(2006) and former Deputy Assistant Commissioner
of Police and Deputy Commander of Jurong Police
Division, was promoted to Assistant Commissioner
of Police. He has also been seconded to the Ministry
of Transport as Director of the Aviation Relations and
Systems Division.
