•  United Nations Economic and Social Council
                (ECOSOC) Youth Forum 2023
            The  United  Nations  Economic  and  Social  Council
            (ECOSOC) Youth Forum 2023 was held at the United
            Nations  Headquarters  in  New  York  in  April  2023.
            The forum provided a platform for youth leaders to
            discuss their roles in COVID-19 recovery and achieving
            the  2030  Sustainable  Development  Goals  Agenda.
            Ms Cassandra Yip, an NYAA Gold Award holder, was
            selected as one of the Singapore representatives to
            attend the forum. Her presentation was well received
            at the United Nations.


            •  United Nations Framework Convention on
                Climate Change, Dubai, UAE
            NYAA  Executive  Director,  a  United  Nations
            Environment  Assembly  member,  and  a  Youth  and
            Children  Major  Stakeholder  member  attended  the
            28th  United  Nations  Framework  Convention  on
            Climate Change (COP28) in Dubai, UAE, in November
            2023.  As  Advisor  to  the  South  East  Asia  Youth
            Environment Network, the NYAA Executive Director
            met with ASEAN Environment Ministers at COP28 to
            brief them on the network’s progress. Additionally, he
            briefed environment ministers and policymakers on
            the successful HSBC NYAA sustainability initiative with
            Small  and  Medium  Enterprises  involving  students.
            UN Member Nations well received the sharing on the
            sidelines of COP28.



            •  The Entrepreneurship Insights Forum 2023,
                Ayutthaya Province, Thailand
            NYAA  Executive  Director  was  invited  to  serve  as  a
            panellist  at  the  Entrepreneurship  Insights  Forum
            2023  in  Ayutthaya  Province,  Thailand,  in  October
            2023. H.E. Khun Kokchai, Chairatsameekun, Deputy
            Governor of Ayutthaya Province, opened the forum.
            The NYAA Executive Director shared insights on how
            Singapore develops its future community leaders.
            Panel members included Ms Joephy Chan Wing Yan,
            a Member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong,
            Mr  Dennis  Ng,  CEO  of  Mober,  Philippines,  and  Mr
            Tanarat  Ratanchuchukorn,  Managing  Director  of
            Chtakkarasuchin Co. Ltd., Thailand.

            Each speaker shared their perspectives on
            leadership in business and community, followed by
            an engaging Q&A session. The event was enriching,
            engaging like-minded leaders across the ASEAN
            region and providing an opportunity to learn about
            the rich culture of Ayutthaya Province.
