NYAA Rehabilitation Programme in Prison

The NYAA Programme was launched in Kaki Bukit
Prison School in 2000 by Mr Wong Kan Seng, Minister
for Home Affairs. Since then, thousands of young
offenders have participated in the NYAA Programme.

The Singapore Prison Service has used the NYAA
programme as a critical rehabilitation programme
for the inmates. The Singapore Prison Service Annual
Report 2020, published on 22 June 2021, highlighted
the impact and success of the NYAA programme on its
            inmates.
